I’m an energetic product design lead who thrives in agile, fast-moving teams. I love empowering others to create great work and growing their skills and confidence, and have extensive experience mentoring junior designers. Building relationships across a business to bring great products to life is another one of my key strengths.

I started my career as a graphic designer and naturally transitioned into UI/UX/product design over time. I also have a background in textile design, having spent several years designing interior products (rugs and wallpaper) and running a homewares business alongside my UI/UX design work.

As a design generalist, I believe that all forms of design are ultimately concerned with creating a product (digital or physical) that is both usable and beautiful, and that putting the customer at the heart of everything you create is simply good business and common sense. A visual designer at heart, I believe that research and a solid understanding of the customer are an important foundation to any product, while craft, brand personality and attention to detail elevate it from good to exceptional.
