Taking Shape
I worked on a concept for a website redesign for the Australian plus-size brand Taking Shape. In the homepage options I presented, I experimented with various ways of ways of surfacing a range of promotional, seasonal and category-focused content in a way that would be flexible and easy to update for a fast-paced fashion retailer. Large menu icons with clear labelling ensured accessibility for the brand’s slightly older audience, while a strong emphasis on upsells in the product page increased the average order value for the business while helping customers coordinate their outfits. I also experimented with extending the brand colour palette to include pale orange and pink in addition to their existing bright orange, to give the brand a softer, more feminine look and feel.
